Receive Blessings from the Lord Gratefully.
We should always be aware of not feeling entitled to God’s gifts and blessings. In all things that God blesses us with, we should be willing to give back to Him without offense.
Did you know that it is possible to be full of joy even in the mist of your pain?
Sometimes we lose things that are valuable and precious to us such as our home, our job, our health and perhaps a loved one. Although the loss of possessions and loved ones are painful and there is a natural need to grieve, it is not illogical to be joyful. Through our hope in Christ it is possible to be sorrowful, but always rejoicing (2 Corinthians 6:4-10) knowing He will never leave or forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6).
The key is to be willing to let go of anything God takes from you. We are not entitled to anything, but because of God’s Grace and Mercy we are blessed.
Apostle Paul learned the secret of being joyful and content in all situations through his experiences and adversities. Through the power of God (the Holy Spirit), just as Paul, you too can be empowered to find joy in the center of your troubles. You must however be willing to let God take control and surrender gratefully what He takes from you. Remember, all things are working together for your good (Romans 8:28). God works in everything and causes everything to work together for the good of those who are the called, according to His purpose.
