Put on Christ to be like Christ

Praise the Lord!

“For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of His good pleasure. Do all things without murmurings and disputing. That ye may be blameless and harmless (sincerely), the sons of God, without rebuke (criticism), in the midst of a crooked and perverse (disobedient) nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world” ( Philippians 2:13-15).

God willingly gives us the desire and the power to do what pleases Him. The key to a changed life is to submit to God’s will and direction and let him work in our lives. To be like Christ, we must put on Christ (Galatians 3:27). We also need the power of His indwelling spirit (Philippians 1:19), the guidance of faithful worshippers full of the Holy Ghost, obedience to God’s word (not just exposure to it), and sacrificial service (Romans 12:1-2).

Our Flesh as well as Satan does not want us to do anything good, especially when it is concerning holy living. As we walk by faith and make every effort to doing God’s will, we will gain the desire to do it. The more You do God’s will, the easier it becomes.

Do what God wants and trust Him to change your desires and watch how brightly you will shine in a dark, immoral and corrupt world. Our transformed lives become an effective witness to the power of the word and work of God. Let’s shine out for God!!!!!
